Some games don't show this on the store page, but they actually support it. I know I'm late for the party but yeah, Doom Eternal actually supports cloud-saves on GP on PC.
I haven't checked, but it may be outdated and may not work for newer games, but its worth a try i guess. It would be useful to find save locations for specific games.Ī quick google search got me to the program I mentioned!
I remember back in the day (several years ago), I used a little program which precisely made backups of all sorts of game saves, even flash games iirc, but I don't remember the name, nor have an idea if it still is available or works. It is an absolute mess, and it would be a real PITA to backup everything, but at least you could focus on games which DON'T have cloud saves already (even within Steam, Epic, etc), and get individual backups for them. Including at least a few games from Steam and MS store,īut most other games have specific locations, buried within their own game folders, instead of a common place. AFAIK is on a per game basis, and even sometimes independent of platform.
