Can anyone at least confirm that this is the most recent firmware update for this product and if so can they explain why this "display email" function won't work and it is asking me to update the firmware? I find it odd that the system would ask me to update the firmware in one menu and then tell me there are no firmware updates in another. The current firmware date code on the printer reads "20201021".
I'm not sure what this "Display email" setting does but I don't feel like I should be getting an error code for it when everything else seems to be working.
The only thing I printed was the setup page after I finished and that was on a piece of scrap paper and it turned out just fine. The printer works I believe, although I just got it and it has no paper at the moment. I have tried to update the firmware via the printer and it says there is no firmware update. When on the printer navigation menu I select "HP Web Services - Display E-Mail Address" the printer says "Connecting." and the "Access Denied.
